One of my early art teachers used to say this to me, and though rather condescending as he was known to be most of the time, he was right.

Mostly a self taught photographer, I started as did most people, with a moderately priced Pentax 35mm film SLR.  

A very good friend of mine who owned a talent agency, saw some potential in me, and said I should start doing more portraits of her clientele who wanted to pay student type prices. 
I then shadowed a couple of wedding photographers of 20 years experience each, got what I needed, and moved on.

I don’t boast many award winning prizes for my photographic skills, but I do enjoy it. I have shot many weddings as a second “candid shooter”. I even covered a few weddings as the main photographer too. Unfortunately, the company makes you surrender the photos, thus you don’t get to see some of these beautiful candid pics.

Also shot a lot of special fashion and music events for on line magazines, such as, Toronto Exclusive, Long & McQuade’s music store catalogue, and Ardorini, a Catholic magazine.
I continue to always explore fine art, as well as art and modern technology.

Most recent accomplishment was graduating with a diploma in Web Design at Everest College. I built this site myself, thanks to Doug Jasper (Instructor at Everest) giving me full artistic license on a school project.

Also have a certificate as an illustrator / designer from George Brown College.

Other membership affiliates include: Waterfront Trail Artists, Canon’s CPP program, and other non-related interests include member of A.C.T.R.A., and still love to sing and perform music when I can fit it in
